kinneret magid moved from the east coast of the usa to the wild west coast of australia at 19 years old to follow her heart. her work, especially her textile and functional home related pieces, reflect the shift in identity that she is currently still going through surrounding "home". the home in which she grew up was filled with stories, myths, and exciting imaginary worlds that were created through the power of children's literature. she works to create a world like that for adults, or anyone who wants to listen, breathe, and understand the nostalgic pull for a world created within the mind.
