Kinneret Magid

Kinneret Magid is a Perth-based artist who will be presenting her textile works and acrylic paintings at this exhibition. One of her paintings on linen, titled Star Fall, is shown here and will be presented along with others from her textile paintings collection.
Kinneret enjoys painting on linen fabric because it allows the work to flow freely and present itself in a unique and ever changing way. Her linen paintings are not framed, and hang on the wall by a wooden dowel and piece of twine, leaving them free to move about as they wish.
