My textile collection invites a sense of comfort in nostalgia, with a combination of bright and pastel colours painted onto secondhand textile materials featuring abstract characters that are open to personal interpretation. Part of this collection is a sewn wall hanging featuring two characters that often come up in my work, bird-like shapes that I have created to hold a sense of freedom and expression.
